Tirtol MLA’s Rumoured Gf Somalika Gets Threat Call To Resolve Dispute

Jagatsinghpur: Tirtol MLA Bijay Shankar Das’ rumoured girlfriend Somalika Dash alleged that she received threatening calls from an unknown person.

Somalika, who has accused Das of betrayal, has handed over the call recording to the media and said she will lodge a police complaint in this regard.

Somalika alleged that the caller asked her to resolve the dispute between the legislator and her.

However, Somalika said she has no clue about the person who was trying to mediate between her and the BJD leader.

In the audio clip, the mediator can be heard asking Somalika whether she wanted any kind of settlement. In reply, Somalika asked the caller whether he would have gone for a compromise, had the victim been his daughter.

On February 19, Somalika had met LoP Jayanarayan Mishra and urged him to raise her issue in the budget session of the Odisha Assembly beginning February 21.

On 4 February, Jagatsinghpur Police had also recorded the statement of Somalika in connection with an alleged betrayal case.
A case was also registered against the MLA on Friday following the intervention of the Orissa High Court.
