Titlagarh Jail Warden Suspended After Two Murder Convicts Escape

Titlagarh: Following the escape of two murder accused from Titlagarh jail, the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Prisons, Sambalpur, took action on Tuesday by suspending the jail warden, D. Dora, for negligence.

The DIG’s investigation revealed that the escapees, identified as Sumit Bihari and Shobhavan Rana, scaled a jail wall using a ladder that was negligently left in a locked room. Furthermore, CCTV footage from the area was inexplicably missing.
