Unable to Meet CM Naveen, Rourkela Activist Muktikant Biswal Climbs Atop A Billboard; Threatens Suicide

Bhubaneswar: Muktikant Biswal, a youth who walked over 450 km from Rourkela to meet CM Naveen Patnaik for various demands of Rourkela climbed atop an advertisement hoarding in Sishu Bhawan square in protest as he was stopped from meeting the CM.

Firefighters and police arrived at the scene after receiving information and tried holding talks with him.

Notably, the 34-year-old Biswal travelled nearly 500 kilometres on foot from Rourkela to Bhubaneswar to remind Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik of the unmet promises made to the residents of the steel city and nearby villages nine years ago.
