Women Tech Transformers Lead Meter Testing Lab Operations At TPCODL

Bhubaneswar: TPCODL has put a strong team of female executives in charge of running its automatic meter testing lab with the goal of empowering women at the workplace.

The team comprising Namita Rani Muduli, Sunanda Rani Dalai, and Subhashree Sasmita led by Tanuja Behera tests single phase and three phase metres on four automatic test benches.

Each of the test benches tests up to 20 meters simu approach to check the meter accuracy issue. It not only guarantees transparent testing but also eliminates human intervention errors and offer higher accuracy class of meters to customers.

Since the lab’s inception, this electrifying team has tested over 40,000 meters. Additionally, the lab has fulfilled all requirements, including a dust-free atmosphere, the right temperature, adequate earthing, etc., which are prerequisites ltaneously with a total capacity of up to 300 meters per day.

The women executives here use a technology-driven to receiving NABL’s (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories)  accreditation.
