Himachal Pradesh Cricketer Siddharth Sharma Dies

Shimla: The 28-year-old right-arm medium pacer Siddharth Sharma of Himachal Pradesh died on Thursday.

Sharma was on a Ventilator for the last 2 weeks when he was with his team for the Ranji Trophy 2022-23.

The pacer recently had taken a five-wicket haul against the Bengal.

The bowler was a part of the Vijay Hazare Trophy triumph where he provided crucial breakthroughs to his team.

He made his first-class debut in 2017 and had taken 25 wickets in 6 matches and was considered to be an exciting prospect for Indian cricket.
