Hockey World Cup 2023: Spain Thrashes Wales 5-1

Rourkela: After losing against India 0-2, Spain returned back to form to defeat Wales 5-1 in their second match of the FIH Odisha Men’s Hockey World Cup 2023 played at Birsa Munda stadium in Rourkela on Sunday.

Spain’s Reyne Marc (16th and 38th minutes) and Miralles Marc (32nd and 56th minutes) scored two goals each, Iglesias Alvaro (22nd minute) struck once. There were four field goals in this watch.

Carson James was the only goal-scorer for Wales. He made a brilliant field goal in the 52nd minute.
