PV Sindhu’s Denmark Open Journey Ends in Thrilling Semifinal Clash

Odense (Denmark): Indian badminton player PV Sindhu faced a tough challenge in the semifinals of the Denmark Open Super 750 tournament, ultimately losing to Spain’s Carolina Marin in a three-game match on Saturday.

The match, lasting one hour and 13 minutes, saw Sindhu struggle and concede victory to Marin with scores of 18-21, 21-19, and 7-21.

Sindhu, a two-time Olympic medalist from India, had previously secured her spot in the semifinals by defeating Thailand’s Supanida Katethong in the quarterfinals on the preceding Friday.

This victory marked another notable achievement in Sindhu’s recent performance, following her semifinal appearance at the Arctic Open Super 500 tournament in Finland just last week.
