Dharamsala: The Indian team on Saturday suffered two injury scares during their practice session ahead of their crucial World Cup clash against New Zealand at Dharamsala. Ishan Kishan was stung by a honeybee, while Suryakumar Yadav received a blow to his right wrist while batting. However, both players are expected to be fit for the match.

Pandya will miss the match due to an ankle injury, but is expected to return to action soon.

The selection decision for the upcoming match may involve choosing between an extra batter, Ishan Kishan, and either off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin or fast bowler Mohammed Shami.

New Zealand will continue to play without Kane Williamson, who is recovering from a thumb injury. However, veteran pacer Tim Southee is fully fit and available for selection.
