Indian Cricket Team Claims Top Spot Across All Formats Of The Game

India are now the number one side across formats in Tests, one-day internationals and T20 Internationals. After defeating India by an innings and 132 runs on February 11 in Nagpur, they rose to the top of the Test cricket rankings, where they had previously held the No. 1 spot in ODIs and T20Is.

India has been a formidable power in Test cricket for the past two years, but their tour of South Africa in 2022 ended in a series loss despite a 1-0 lead. Additionally, they lost the Birmingham Test match against England which was postponed.

After sweeping New Zealand earlier in the year, India rose to the top spot in one-day international rankings.

India now has a chance to beat Australia 3-1 or better and advance to the World Test Championship final.

India, who displaced Australia from the top spot of the ICC rankings, have 115 rating points after 32 games so far this cycle, whereas, Australia have dropped to No. 2. New Zealand, the current World Test Championship winners, are ranked fourth, while England is third.
