Twitter chief Elon Musk in a tweet today asserted that Twitter will provide live commentary of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, which starts on Sunday.

Qatar will host the World Cup from November 20 to December 18, 2022. This will be the first World Cup to be contested in the Arab world and the second World Cup to be hosted solely in Asia after the 2002 World Cup in South Korea and Japan.
