President Murmu To Revisit Odisha In December

New Delhi: Following her appointment to the highest constitutional position, President Droupadi Murmu recently paid her first visit to Odisha. Some reports suggest, she may return to her home state again next month. It is yet to be confirmed officially.

According to sources, she is expected to arrive in Odisha on December 15. This time the first citizen may travel to her hometown of Pahadpur in the Mayurbhanj district.

President Murmu recently visited Odisha for two days on November 10 and 11.

She visited Puri Srimandir to pay obeisance to the Holy Trinity. She was given a civic welcome at Bhubaneswar’s Raj Bhawan.

On the second day, she visited Tapoban High School, Unit-II Government Girls High School and Unit-II Kuntala Kumar Sabat Tribal Girls Hostel to relive the memories of her young days.
