PM Modi Releases BJP Manifesto for Lok Sabha Polls, Emphasizes Inclusive Development

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) manifesto for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls on Sunday, with a strong emphasis on addressing the needs of various segments of society, including the poor, youth, farmers, and women.

During the release event attended by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, copies of the manifesto were presented to representatives from different beneficiary groups, namely the poor (Gareeb), youth (Yuva), farmers (Annadata), and women (Naari Shakti), highlighting the party’s commitment to these sections of society.

PM Modi highlighted the manifesto’s focus on enhancing the dignity and quality of life, along with providing ample opportunities for all. He announced a significant inclusion, extending the ‘Ayushman Bharat’ scheme to cover all senior citizens above 70 years of age.

“This manifesto strengthens the foundation of a developed India, focusing on the empowerment of youth, women, the poor, and farmers,” stated PM Modi, emphasizing the core pillars of the manifesto.

Singh, who headed the manifesto committee, emphasized the significance of “Modi ki guarantee,” asserting that it symbolizes the highest standard of governance. He disclosed that over 15 lakh suggestions from across the nation had been incorporated into the manifesto, reflecting the diverse needs and aspirations of the populace.

Key highlights of the manifesto include the commitment to implementing the “one nation, one poll” initiative, streamlining electoral processes, eliminating train travel waiting lists, advancing 5G network infrastructure, and promoting Ramayan festivals globally.
