Bihar YouTuber Manish Kashyap Joins BJP

New Delhi: Bihar YouTuber Manish Kashyap, previously arrested for circulating purported ‘fake videos’ depicting attacks on Bihari migrants in Tamil Nadu, has now joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Kashyap, who boasts a significant following on his YouTube channel ‘Manish Kashyap Son of Bihar,’ with 8.75 million subscribers, made the announcement in the presence of Delhi MP Manoj Tiwari.

Expressing gratitude towards Tiwari and the BJP for their support during his legal ordeal, Kashyap emphasized his mother’s admiration for Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a driving force behind his decision to join the party. He stated, “My fight against those who defame Sanatan will continue.”

Addressing his plans within the BJP, Kashyap pledged to contribute to strengthening the party’s presence in Bihar, while also criticizing Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family for looting Bihar.

He highlighted the BJP’s purported respect for the underprivileged, contrasting it with allegations of corruption within other political parties in Bihar.
