Woman Brands 3-YO Son With Hot Iron Rod In Jajpur

Jajpur: A woman allegedly branded her three-year-old child with a hot iron rod in the Chattia area of Jajpur district.

According to reports, the matter came to the fore after the local people protested relating to this matter and informed the Kaimatia Sarpanch about the incident. The Sarpanch immediately informed the Child Protection Unit.

On getting information, the Child Protection Unit officials reached the spot and rescued the baby boy. Meanwhile, the Child Protection Unit further said that legal action will be taken in this regard.
