Nuapada: A leopard triggered panic in some parts of Odisha’s Nuapada district after preying at least two cows and two calves in five villages of the district in the last few days.
According to reports, the villagers spotted the leopard on the fringe of Lodara village on Tuesday while people of Pabaltola and Tiria Mahuabhata villages claimed to have seen the big cat wandering in their area.
Meanwhile, a team of forest officials visited the spot and started an investigation.
