Youth Found Dead in OYO Room in Bhubaneswar; 3 Including GF Detained

Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police have detained three persons including the girlfriend of the deceased who was found hanging inside a room of an OYO hotel in the Khandagiri area in Bhubaneswar.

The cops have detained Durga Prasad’s girlfriend and two of his friends for further questioning regarding the alleged murder case.

According to reports, the mobile phones of Durga, his girlfriend and two of his friends are under police scanner and the CCTV footage of the OYO hotel is also being checked.

Reportedly, police found some pieces of glass in the pant pockets of the deceased. Some cuts were also seen in the hands of Durga.

It is pertinent to note that Durga had come to the hotel to celebrate the birthday of one of his friends along with his girlfriend. Later, he was found hanging in the room.

However, family members of the deceased suspect that his friends had called him to the birthday party and killed him.

Investigation into the matter is underway.
