Six Arrested With Huge Cache Of Liquor In Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: A huge cache of liquor and beer has been seized by the District Excise officials during raids at different places in Dhenkanal on Saturday and Sunday.

They have also arrested six persons in this connection. The accused persons have been identified as Antaryami Biswal, Suresan Behera, Pandab Prusty, Akhaya Rout, Ranjan Kumar Samla, and Baruna Sethy.

Acting on a tip-off, the cops raided and seized items including 57.42 litres of duplicate IMFL, 7.8 litres of beer, and 60 litres of ID liquor. The cops have also arrested six persons in this connection.

One unclaimed case was also registered with the seizure of 100 litres of ID liquor and 1900 litres of FG wash at Badanadaba.
