Schools, Colleges in Bhubaneswar to Remain Closed on Sept 17 for PM Modi’s Subhadra Yojana Event

Bhubaneswar: All schools and colleges in Bhubaneswar will remain closed on Tuesday, September 17, due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit to the Odisha capital.

The Prime Minister will launch the state government’s Subhadra Yojana at a special event in the city on the same day.

The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has announced the closure of all educational institutions under its jurisdiction as a large number of people are expected to gather for the event, according to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).

Additionally, all government offices, including revenue and magisterial courts in the city, will be closed till 2 pm on September 17, as per a notification issued by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department.
