2 Children Among 5 Kanwariyas Electrocuted to Death in Jharkhand

Ranchi: Five Kanwar Yatra pilgrims including two children were electrocuted to death in Jharkhand’s Latehar district on Thursday morning. Three others were injured in the accident.

They were electrocuted when their vehicle came into contact with a high-tension overhead wire. The accident occurred at around 3 am at Tam Tam Tola in Balumath police station area.

The ill-fate Kanwariyas were returning from Baba Baidyanath temple in Deoghar when their vehicle hit an electricity pole and the high-tension overhead wire fell on their vehicle.

The deceased included two girls aged 12 and 15 years and a woman.
