4 Labourers Killed As Borewell Trucks Runs Over Them in Bargarh Dist

Bargarh: Four labourers died and another was seriously injured on Wednesday night when a borewell truck ran over them in Birjam village under Melchamunda police station limits in Odisha’s Bargarh district. The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.

The ill-fated labourers were digging a well in the village when the driver of the borewell truck lost control and ran over them. Police seized the bodies and sent them for post-mortem. The injured was admitted to a local hospital.

The personnel of the Melchamunda police station have detained the truck driver for investigation and interrogation.
