Bhubaneswar: Eight places in Odisha experienced temperatures above 40°C by 2:30 pm on Thursday.
According to the local MeT office, Jharsuguda was the hottest place in Odisha on Thursday with 43.6°C. At the same time, Bhubaneswar stood second at 42.2°C.
