Apple Rolls Out 5G Enabled iOS 16 Beta For Indian Consumers; Compatible With Jio & Airtel

Mumbai: Apple today (10 Nov 2022) made its iOS 16 5G’s beta program live for its consumers in India. The Beta program is now compatible with Airtel and JIo in India. Through this beta software program, Jio and Airtel consumers with iPhone 12, 13, 14, and iPhone SE (3^rd Gen) models can get the taste of 5G, before the update gets officially rolled out in December.

Further, Apple has asked its users to send in their feedback and report any bugs in the software through the built-in Feedback Assistant app after installing the beta program.

Earlier in October, Apple, upon receiving numerous user queries had made it clear that it was working closely with carrier partners in India to provide the best 5G services to iPhone users in India.

Notably, 5G services are being rolled out in India in a phased manner starting with some of the major metro cities.
