Big Change in Australia T20I Squad, 6 Players Replaced

Guwahati: Steve Smith and Adam Zampa were flown back home from India by Team Australia before the 3rd T20I against India in Guwahati.

Four more Australian players will return back home on Wednesday. Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Josh Inglis, and Sean Abbott will fly back to Australia after the 3rd T20I.

This is a major change in the Australia squad with three more matches yet to be played in the series.

Australia have also announced two replacements for the series, with ‘wicket keeper-batter Josh Phillippe and big-hitter Ben McDermott joining in ahead of the 3rd T20I in Guwahati.

New South Wales’s Ben Dwarshuis and spinner Chris Green will join the squad in Raipur ahead of the fourth T20I.
