Odisha to Face Heatwave Till May 2, Saturday Morning Temperatures Soar High

Bhubaneswar: Odisha will continue to simmer under severe heatwave for four more days till May 2. According to the IMD, the day temperature in the state will increase by 2 degrees in the next two days. The temperature will be 4 to 6 degrees above normal in most parts of Odisha in the coming few days.

As there will be strong summer breeze, the temperature may touch 45 degrees in some places.

A red warning has been issued on April 27 (Saturday) for 15 districts of Odisha including Gajapati, Ganjam, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Jharsuguda, Dhenkanal, Bhadrak, Khordha, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Nuapada, Sonepur, Balangir, Kalahandi, and Boudh.

Keonjhar – 34.8°C

Rourkela – 34.8°C

Balangir – 34.8°C

Bhavanipatna – 34°C
