Bike Accidents in Jagatsinghpur, Balasore Claim 3 Lives

Bhubaneswar: Three persons lost their lives and another was critically injured in two separate road accidents Jagatsinghpur and Balasore districts of Odisha during the last 24 hours.

In Jagatsinghpur district, two bike riders died when their motorcycle was hit by a truck near Chhak No 15 on the Paradip-Cuttack road under the Kujanga block.

The deceased were Jitendra Pal and Prahallad Bhol from Chhanda and Raghunathpur villages under Marshaghai police station limits. The deceased were on their way to Kujanga from Paradip when the speeding truck hit them and fled the spot.

In the second accident, a youth was killed and another was injured when a bus hit their bike near Mahadev Chhak on Jaleswar-Chandaneswar road in Balasore.

The deceased was a resident of the Udayapur under the Talasari Marine police station limits.

According to reports, the ill-fated bikers were hit by a private travelling from Berhampur to Chandaneswar.
