Biker Runs Over 3 Friends in Sundergarh Dist, 1 Killed & 2 Injured

Rourkela: A biker ran over his three friends, who were watching a World Cup cricket match on a mobile phone on the road in Gamalei village in Odisha’s Sundargarh district on Sunday evening.

The victims were sitting on the main road near their village and watching the ODI World Cup match between India and South Africa on a mobile phone.

Due to darkness, the rider of a speeding bike could not see the three friends and rammed into them. One of the trio died on the spot while two others were seriously injured.

The locals admitted the injured to RGH in Rourkela.

A police team from the Bonai police station reached the village to take up an investigation.
