Bhubaneswar-Jeypore 2nd Direct Flight Starts, Check Timing & Fare

Koraput: The second direct flight service between Bhubaneswar and Jeypore in Koraput was launched on Monday.

This flight service operated by IndiaOne Air will be available twice a day on Mondays and Fridays every week. This flight service is financially supported by the Odisha government.

The flight departed from the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Bhubaneswar at 7:10 am and arrived at Jeypore at 8:45 am. The return flight will take off from Jeypore at 9:00 am to land in Bhubaneswar at 10:35 am.

The inaugural rate for this flight service has been priced at Rs 2999 for the month of November only.

The flight service between Bhubaneswar and Jeypore was launched by the Odisha Cm Naveen Patnaik on October 31, 2022.

This flight service uses the airstrip in Jeypore that was constructed in 1962. It was upgraded to an airport under the UDAN scheme in 2017. On October 20, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) granted the licence for commercial flight operations from Jeypore airport.
