Bodies of 2 Youths Fished from Water Body 5 Days After They Went Missing in Balasore Dist

Balasore: Bodies of two youths who went missing five days back in of Odisha’s Balasore district, were discovered floating in an abandoned water-filled quarry in Machua village near Nilagiri on Friday.

The identities of the deceased have not been confirmed officially. But it is suspected that they are Bhabani Shankar (22) and Manoranjan (21) of Kansa village, who went missing on February 5.

On the next day, locals found their bike and shoes with blood stains near the water body.  Following it, their family members had alleged that they were murdered.

Following the incident, a search operation by ODRAF had been initiated to trace the bodies from the water body.
