Bomb Threat Call Grounds Delhi-Pune Flight, Nothing Suspicious Found

New Delhi: A call center in Delhi received a bomb threat call for a Delhi-Pune Vistara flight scheduled to take off from Delhi airport on Friday morning. The flight was scheduled to take off at 8.30 am.

Following this bomb threat, the aircraft was kept in isolation for a thorough inspection by security agencies.  But nothing suspicious was found in the aircraft.

There were more than 100 passengers in the aircraft. The passengers’ luggage was de-boarded for inspection.

As per the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), the plane cannot be scheduled until the security agencies give final clearance to the flight to leave for the destination, Pune.
