BSP Will Fight LS Polls Alone, Clarifies Mayawati

New Delhi: The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief again clarified on Saturday that her party will contest the Lok Sabha elections alone without having any pre-poll alliance with any other party.

The BSP supremo Mayawati wrote on X, “The rumours of forming electoral alliances or a third front is completely false and misleading news. The media should maintain its credibility by not giving such mischievous news. People should also remain cautious.”

In February, she had dismissed rumours of joining the India Bloc.

Maywati’s recent statement comes four days after the BRS and BSP on Tuesday decided to have an alliance in Telangana for the coming Lok Sabha polls. This was announced by Bharat Rashtra Samithi president and former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and state BSP president RS Praveen Kumar.
