Odisha CM Mohan Majhi to Launch CM Kisan Yojana During Nuakhai Festivities in Sambalpur

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is set to visit Sambalpur on September 8 and 9, where he will launch the CM Kisan Yojana in conjunction with the Nuakhai festival celebrations.

During his visit, CM Majhi will inaugurate the new CM Kisan Yojana on September 8, replacing the existing KALIA scheme to better support farmers.

Under the CM Kisan Yojana, small and marginal farmers will receive an annual grant of Rs 4000, disbursed in two equal installments of Rs 2000 each. Landless farmers, on the other hand, will be eligible for a total of Rs 12,500, distributed in three phases.

The Chief Minister will also participate in the ‘Nuakhai Bhetghat’ programmes and visit the Maa Samaleswari temple in Sambalpur.

Farmers wishing to benefit from the new scheme must register on the CM Kisan web portal.
