Congress Declares 75 Candidates for Odisha Assembly Polls, Two Former PCC Presidents Included

Bhubaneswar: The Congress party announced 75 candidates for the upcoming Assembly polls in Odisha.

The party had earlier announced candidates for 47 Assembly seats. The party has named former minister and senior Congress leader Niranjan Patnaik from Bhandaripokhari Assembly seat in Bhadrak district. Another senior Congress leader Jaydev Jena got the ticket to fight the polls from Anandapur seat in Keonjhar district.

Pruthvi Ballav Patnaik, the son of former Chief Minister Janaki Ballabh Patnaik, has been nominated by the party for Begunia seat in Khurda district.
