20 Injured As Bus Overturns After Hitting Truck in Boudh Dist

Boudh: At least 20 passengers were injured when the bus in which they were travelling overturned after hitting a truck at Boudh-Phulbani Getamunda Ghat in Odisha’s Boudh district on Monday morning.

The injured were admitted to the Purunakatak Hospital.

The ill-fated bus was travelling from Boudh to Baliguda in the Kandhamal district. As per reports, there were around 23 passengers in the bus when the accident occurred. The bus had a head-on collision with a truck coming from the opposite side. Following the crash, the bus overturned.

Locals rushed to the spot to rescue the injured. On being informed, police and Fire Services personnel also reached the spot and transported the injured passengers to the hospital.
