Conspirator of 26/11 Mumbai Attack Dies in Pakistan

New Delhi: A senior commander of the terrorist outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Azam Cheema, who was a key conspirator in the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks died due to a heart attack in Pakistan’s Faisalabad city, reported India Today quoting intelligence sources.

Cheema was reportedly the mastermind of the 2006 Mumbai train bombings that killed 188 people and injured more than 800.

Cheema was on the most wanted list of the US government for training the terrorists who carried out the 26/11 terror in which a total of 166 people, including six Americans, were killed.

Cheema’s funeral was held in Malkhanwala, Faisalabad.
