Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government hiked the dearness allowance (DA) for all state government employees by four per cent, on Friday.
This DA hike declared by the state government will be retrospectively applicable from July 1, 2023.
With this, the dearness allowance of the employees has been increased to 46 per cent from the existing 42 per cent.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday approved the proposal for a hike in the dearness allowance for the state government employees.
On October 18 the Central government approved a 4 per cent dearness allowance (DA) hike for central government employees and pensioners.
