Tejashwi Yadav Questioned by ED in Land-for-Jobs Scam Probe, RJD Cries Foul

Patna: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) today for questioning in the alleged land-for-jobs scam. This comes a day after his father and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav was grilled by the agency for over nine hours in the same case.

The RJD has condemned the summons, calling it a politically motivated attack by the BJP government using central agencies like the ED. RJD MP Manoj Jha accused the BJP of misusing investigative bodies to target opposition parties, while MLC Shakti Singh claimed Tejashwi was a minor during the alleged scam and is being targeted for his performance in the previous government.

Reacting to these claims, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and BJP leader Samrat Choudhary highlighted Lalu Prasad Yadav’s past involvement in the fodder scam and land-for-jobs scam, stating that the ED investigation is legitimate.

The land-for-jobs scam pertains to appointments allegedly made in the Indian Railways between 2004 and 2009 in exchange for land parcels.
