Farhan Akhtar Hints at Don 3, Ranveer Singh May Replace SRK

Mumbai: Filmmaker Farhan Akhtar on Tuesday took to Twitter to announce the making of Don 3, the third installment of the Don movie series.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan played the lead role in the last two movies of the series. But according to reports, Bollywood star Ranveer Singh will replace the third adventure in the Don universe. But it has not been confirmed by the makers of the movie. The release date of Don 3 is yet to be confirmed.

Farhan has not disclosed anything in the clip he shared. This clip has the tagline, ‘A New Era Begins.’

Don 1 was a rebooted version of the original Don, which starred Amitabh Bachchan in the lead. Don 1 and Don 2 had SRK was in the boots of senior Bachchan.
