Former Air Force Chief RKS Bhadauria joins BJP, May Contest From Ghaziabad

New Delhi: The former chief of Air Staff Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria joined the BJP on Sunday ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He joined the saffron party at its Delhi headquarters in the presence of BJP General Secretary Vinod Tawde and Union Minister Anurag Thakur.

RKS Bhadauria retired from service in September 2021. He was the 23rd Air Force Chief from September 30, 2019 to September 30, 2021.

As per reports, the BJP may field him as its Lok Sabha candidate from Ghaziabad.

Military veteran General VK Singh is the sitting Lok Sabha MP from the Ghaziabad seat. He won from this seat in 2014 and again in 2019. The BJP is yet to declare its candidates on the Ghaziabad seat.
