Former IAS Hrushikesh Panda & Two More Retired Dignitaries Join BJP

Bhubaneswar: Former IAS topper Hrusikesh Panda, retired Air Marshal of Indian Navy Dilip Kumar Patnaik, and former Joint Secretary of Rajya Sabha Ramakanta Das joined the BJP in Odisha.

They joined the saffron party in a ceremony held at the BJP state office in Bhubaneswar. Senior BJP leaders welcomed Hrusikesh Panda, Dilip Kumar Patnaik, and Ramakanta Das to the party.

BJP Odisha in-charge Vijaypal Singh Tomar, assistant in-charge Lata Usendi, the party’s sitting president Manmohan Samal, former president Samir Mohanty, Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi and former DGP Prakash Mishra were among the BJP leaders present during the occasion.

Born in Kalidaspur village under Basudevpur block of Bhadrak district, Panda topped the civil services exam in 1979. During his professional career he held important positions in Odisha as well Central government.
