Four Including a Child Die of Asphyxiation at Brick Kiln in Dhenkanal Dist

Dhenkanal: Four persons including a 7-year-old boy died of asphyxiation at a brick kiln near the Kamalang area under Kantabania police station limits in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district.

According to reports, the four victims including the child were suffocated to death while sleeping in the brick kiln premises. The room in which they slept was filled by the toxic smoke generated by the brick kiln fire.

On Saturday morning, all of them were rushed to a private nursing home where the doctors declared them dead.

Police officials have reached the spot and have started an investigation into the incident.
