Maoists Abduct Govt Doctor in Odisha’s Malkangiri

Malkangiri: In a shocking incident, a doctor stationed at the Kalimela Community Health Centre (CHC) in Odisha’s Malkangiri district, has been reportedly abducted by Maoist insurgents.

The doctor, identified as Amlan Bhoi was kidnapped from his residence, sparking concern and fear among the local community.

Reports suggest that a handwritten note, purportedly from the Maoists, was discovered at Dr. Bhoi’s home. Although the exact motive behind this abduction remains unclear, preliminary reports suggest it could be related to a postmortem conducted at the CHC.
