Gundicha Temple Will Reopen for Devotees from Rath Yatra 2024

Puri: Shree Gundicha temple in Puri will reopen for the devotees from the Rath Yatra 2024, informed chief administrator of the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) Ranjan Das.

According to the chief of the SJTA, the developmental works at the Shree Gundicha temple will start soon to be completed in five to six months before the Rath Yatra 2024.

The developmental works being taken up at the Shree Gundicha Temple includes the kitchen of the temple, the place where vegetables are cut, the place where people have prasad and the path on which deities are taken in pahandi.

Das said, a park and a hall where religious activities can be held all around the year will also be part of the developmental work.

Shree After completion of developmental works devotees will be permitted to enter the Shree Gundicha temple all around the year.
