Class 6 Student Allegedly Gang Raped Headmaster & Teacher in Nabarangpur

Nabarangpur: A girl studying in class 6 was allegedly gang raped by the headmaster and an assistant teacher of a school in Kundei area of Odisha’s Nabarangpur district.

Police have taken the two teachers into custody for interrogation. The victim is admitted to the Nabarangpur District Headquarters Hospital.

According to police sources, the shocking incident took place. But it came to fore only when the victim’s health condition deteriorated. Initially the girl had not disclosed about it to anyone.

Without knowing about what the girl had faced, her family members took her to a local hospital, where a nurse suspected foul play. When the nurse talked with the girl alone, the victim revealed about the gang rape she had suffered.

Then only the victim’s family members lodged a complaint about the incident at the Kundei police station.

On the basis of the complaint, police registered a case under relevant sections of the IPC and POCSO Act an dtook the two accused teachers into custody for investigation.
