House of Lakshmi Narayan Temple Head’s Son Fired at in Canada

Unidentified miscreants fired shots at the residence of the son of Satish Kumar, the president of Lakshmi Narayan Mandir.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) are investigating the incident.

The Lakshmi Narayan Temple was also targeted by alleged Khalistani activists thrice in the past.

This firing incident occurred in the early morning on Wednesday at a residence in the 14900 block of 80 Avenue, Surrey. But no one was injured.

According to Surrey Police, the residence involved sustained damage consistent with bullet holes.

The identities of the perpetrators are not known yet.

In recent months, there has been disturbing rise in vandalism and attacks targeting Hindu temple in Canada, which coincides with an increase in activities of Khalistani groups in the North American country.
