Kannada Film Producer Soundarya Jagadish Ends Life

Bengaluru: Noted Kannada film producer, Soundarya Jagadish, died at the age of 55 on Sunday. Police officials suspect suicide was the cause of his death. He was found dead at his residence in Bengaluru’s Mahalakshmi Layout.

As per reports, Jagadish attempted suicide by hanging. He was rushed to a hospital, where he was declared dead. The reason behind his drastic decision has not been ascertained.

Jagadish was also a businessman, who owned a pub in Bengaluru. The pub’s licence was temporarily cancelled after it found itself in the middle of a controversy after a late night party involving people from the film industry.

Some of Jagadish’s films include ‘Snehitaru’, ‘Appu Pappu’, ‘Mast Maja Maadi’ and ‘Ramleela’.
