Telangana Assembly Elections: KCR’s BRS Names Candidates for 115 Seats

Hyderabad: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has released its candidates list for 115 seats in the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections, anticipated later this year. The BRS chief also disclosed his intention to run for office from both Gajwel and Kamareddy constituencies.

K Chandrashekar Rao expressed confidence during the announcement, projecting a victory of 95-105 seats out of the total 119 in the Assembly polls. While the Election Commission (EC) is yet to finalize the election date, BRS remains resolute in its ambitions.

Asserting the enduring alliance, KCR affirmed the continued partnership between BRS and AIMIM, along with Hyderabad Lok Sabha MP Asaduddin Owaisi.

In a strategic move, BRS replaced candidates for seven seats – Boath, Khanapur, Wyra, Korutla, Uppal, Asifabad, and Metpally. Notably, the party has pending decisions regarding candidates for four constituencies: Goshamahal, Nampally, Jangaon, and Narsapur.

Of the 115 candidates, 30 are designated for SC/ST representation, underlining the party’s commitment to diversity and inclusivity in the elections.
