Rajinikanth’s Jailer Crosses Rs 500 Cr Box Office Collection in 10 Days

Mumbai: Jailer starring superstar Rajinikanth crossed the Rs 500-crore mark at the global box office. It surpassed blockbuster Ponniyin Selvan: Part I’s lifetime collection of Rs 498 crore, according to trade reports on Monday.

Jailer is the second Rajinikanth film to join the Rs 500 crore club. His 2018 blockbuster 2.0 earned Rs 783 crore at the global box office.

Jailer is also the second-fastest Tamil film to cross the Rs 500-crore milestone globally. Jailer achieved the feat in just 10 days, while 2.0’s had done it in seven days.

Jailer’s global box office earnings have now reached Rs 543.96 crore.

Jailer directed by Nelson Dilipkumar also has Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Vinayakan, Yogi Babu and Vasanth Ravi in the star cast. Apart from them, Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar and Jackie Shroff play cameos in this high-voltage action thriller.
