HanuMan Wins Hearts to Become “First Hit of 2024”

Mumbai: Prasanth Varma’s superhero thriller HanuMan is attracting cine-lovers to the theatres.

According to film industry tracker Sacnilk, the film grossed Rs 55.4 crore net within four days of its release. On its fourth day in theatres, the film managed to rake in ₹14.75 crore net. Considering its performance at the worldwide Box Office, the film has managed to collect Rs 72.15 crore with Rs 47.15 crore gross collection in India and Rs 25 crore in overseas markets.

In his post on X, Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, “It’s #HanuMania everywhere: from North to South, from East to West… #HanuMan is UNSTOPPABLE and UNSHAKABLE… Continues its victory march on make-or-break Day 4 [Mon]… Collects *more* than Day 1 [Fri], despite reduced ticket rates *on weekdays*… This one’s NOT going to slow down soon.”

On Monday,  Taran Adarsh shared that Hanu-Man, in its opening weekend, has exceeded the box office collection of the Hindi versions of blockbusters like KGF: Chapter 1, Kantara and Pushpa: The Rise for the corresponding time frame. As per Taran Adarsh, this Hanu-Man has become the “first hit of 2024”.

Along with Teja Sajja, HanuMan stars Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Deepak Shetty and Vennela Kishore in important roles.
