SRK’s Jawan Puts Box Office on Fire, Mints Rs 538 Cr Globally by Day 4

Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan crossed the Rs 500-crore mark in worldwide gross box office collections in just four days. Since its release on September 7, this movie has collected Rs 538 crore in theatres around the globe, according to Box Office India.

Shah Rukh Khan has achieved this twice in a single year. His Pathaan took five days to cross the Rs 500-crore mark globally and went on to enmass a staggering collection of Rs 1,055 crore during its theatrical run.

Jawan became the first Hindi film to register single-day earnings more than Rs 70 crore on Sunday, minting Rs 72 crore nett (in Hindi) in India alone.

With Sunday’s collections, the total four-day earnings of the movie in India now stand at Rs 286.56 crore nett.

Jawan also features Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in significant roles with special cameos by Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt.
