Leopard Found Dead on Road in Punjab

Chandigarh: A four-year-old male leopard was found dead in the Ropar area of Punjab on Friday morning.

As per reports, the carcass of the wild cat was located in the middle of the Ropar-Nurpur Bedi road near Khad Bathlor village.

Forest officials suspect that the wild leopard may have been hit by some speeding vehicle while crossing the road. The carcass has been sent for post-mortem and an investigation is underway.
